  • Congratulations to 8th grade winners of the Seneca County Museum Poster Contest.  Students throughout Tiffin and Seneca County were invited to participate in the contest.  Livyana Kaiser won 1st place and Alexis Margraf won 3rd place.   
  • Attention Seniors Going on Class Trip - 
    Don't forget to sign up for Concession Stand with Mrs. Chaffee ASAP!!
  • Congratulations to the Lady Tigers as they defeated reigning N10 champ Buckeye Central last night 69-62 to move the team to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in the conference.  Leading the way for Seneca East were Jessica Bowerman with 20 points and 8 rebounds followed by Marina Adachi with 19.

    The JV Lady Tigers moved to 4-0 on the season with a 42-28 win over the Buckettes.  Makenna Depinet led the JV'ers with 14 points.
  • The 7th and 8th Grade Bands will need to combine this Friday during 5B in the Band room - their Christmas concert is this coming Sunday at 6:30, following the 5th and 6th Grade Bands.  All may come to enjoy!

  • Yearbook will be selling donuts before school this Wednesday Dec. 12th. Donuts are $1.50 each and can be pre-ordered in Mrs. Baker's room.   

  • Mental Health and Addiction Services groups are available to Seneca East students through Fireland's Counseling Services in Tiffin Ohio.  Group Registration is begining now and will remain open through January.  Please see Mrs. Schalk or Mrs. Stockmaster if you are interested in participating in any groups that cover the following topics:  Safe and Healthy living practices (Staying away from drugs and alcohol), Self Esteem, Children/Adolescents of parents struggling with addiction.  
  • Seneca East Junior High Wrestling team placed 11th out of 19 teams at Clyde Invite Saturday.  Nathan Parks and Will Bischoff were individual champions.  Blake Martin, Kayden Neff, and Riley Shook took 6th place in their respected weight classes.  
  • A friendly reminder to students and parents that we have an upcoming concert on Friday, December 14th, at 6:00PM.

    Call time will be 5:30 PM for choir students.

    High school students are expected to wear their white undershirts (Tenors and Basses only), black shoes, and black socks/pantyhose and their assigned dress at school.

    6th and 7th-8th choirs are expected to wear black shoes, black socks/pantyhose, black undershirt, and their polo at school.

  • Don’t miss your opportunity to play in the Santa V.S. Grinch Dodge Ball Showdown on December 21st at 2:00.Teams will not only compete for awards but also their vote on which Christmas icon will have a pie smashed on their face. Preregister for $2 a person with Mrs. Powell (5-8), or Mrs. Saylors (9-12). Forgot to preregister but still want to play? Late registration of $3 a person will be accepted at the gate. However, space on the teams is limited so register soon. Good tidings and luck to SE students and staff
