On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, Seneca East Schools will be offering its students (grades 6-11) the opportunity to receive a free sports physical. A sports physical is required for any student interested in participating in athletics (including cheerleading) at both the junior high or high school levels of OHSAA. These physicals will be conducted by a team of athletic trainers and physicians from the AVITA Health System and will be good through all of the 2018-19 athletic seasons. Unfortunately, this year's free physical opportunity will not be held at Seneca East, but will be held at Mohawk High School. To assist athletes who may not have transportation to Mohawk, we are going to offer bus transportation for our student athletes there and back. The bus will depart from Seneca East at 3:15 p.m. Our return time will be depend on how long it takes to process our athletes. If your son or daughter is participating in this opportunity and will not have a parent/guardian at this event, make sure page 6 of the physical form has both a student and parent/guardian signature. No signatures mean no physical. If you have any questions, contact Doug Mason at 419-426-1855.
